Goals of the week:

  • Set up Unity Teams
  • Start working on primitives demo

Summary of the week:

    Last week was a good week for the group. First, the group divvied up objectives amongst members of the group, assigning five objectives per member. Each member then had to create tasks for their respective groups. We discussed how the Requirements Matrix was going during the group's meeting with the sponsor (Ms. Beth). Unfortunately, the updated Requirements Matrix was not ready to be presented to Ms. Beth at the time. However, a presentation of it will happen during the next meeting.
    The group also had a discussion with Ms. Beth about their experiences with AR. One group member, Devin Ryan, had the most experience with AR, specifically in a program called Vuforia. The group also discussed setting Unity Teams and how it would affect the groups' work in the coming weeks. Towards the end of the meeting, Ms. Beth and the group made plans for things that need to be completed by the next sponsor meeting. These things included all the updates to the Requirements Matrix and to start work on the primitives demo. The last item discussed during the meeting was a possible change in meeting time with Ms. Beth, but that still needs to be planned. The group spent the rest of the week after the meeting with Ms. Beth completing the work that needed to be completed before the next meeting.

Goals for next week:

  • Present updated Requirements Matrix
  • Present work done on primitives demo

Goals of the week: Work on tasks Summary of the week:      With one week left before finals, the group diligently works on finalizing the project. During the prior week, Devin worked on the documentation of scripts, variables, and functions within the project. At the same time, James worked on the timer for minigames, calculated the bonuses, and created the camera functions.   Goals for this week: Assign jobs for each team member Read and discuss " The Kitten and The Robot " Decide which game we want to go with Summary of the week:      This week was a simple one. The first task of the week was to assign jobs to each team member.  James Evans was assigned the jobs of writing the meeting agendas, and calling meetings. Devin Ryan  was given the jobs of taking meeting notes, and contacting the sponsor, Ms. Beth, when needed. Scott  Swiatek was designated as the group's blog writer. The group's next task was to read "The Kitten and The  Robot," the book associated with the project, from beginning to end. Each group member then had to  write feedback for the sponsor, the book's author. The final task was to decide which game the group  wanted to work on. Goals of the week: Work on project tasks Summary of the week:      Unfortunately, only Devin was able to work on the project during the prior week. Scott had two school projects due around the same time and needed to dedicate his time to them. James was also unable to work on the project because of social commitments that he had to uphold. However, he was able to update the project spreadsheet. Meanwhile, Devin was able to add the changes he made over the past two weeks to the project. The main focus of these changes is the Save System, the Currency System, and the functions used to calculate the durability loss of structures. Goals for next week: Continue working on project tasks
