Goals of the week: Work on project tasks Summary of the week: This week saw the group make significant progress for the project: James began work on the phase changes and established code for each of the phases. Devin wrote a few functions for the currency system and set up the GameManager. Scott asked the sponsor, Ms. Beth, a few design questions, such as which font she would prefer for the UI. Goals for next week: Continue working on project tasks
Goals of the week: Update the Requirements Matrix Determine which version of Unity we'll be using Summary of the week: Last week was more of the same. The group discussed the changes to the requirements matrix during a meeting last week. During this meeting, the group also discussed which version of Unity should be used for the project. Ultimately the group settled on Unity 2019.4.8f1 with Build Support for Android and iOS. Unfortunately, the group couldn't hold a meeting with the sponsor Ms. Beth because the requirements matrix wasn't ready to be presented yet. Goals of next week: Develop a basic Unity game level with primitives for testing
Goals of the week: Work on project tasks Establish communications with other XR team Summary of the week: Last week was more or less the same as the week before that, with each group member working on their assigned tasks. Each group member has made progress in each of their tasks over the week. James Evan worked on the minigames' logic but has not been able to implement them into the Unity project. Scott Swiatek is designing the main menu UI for the game. Devin Ryan has added textures to the buildings in the Unity project. The last thing the group did was establish communications with the XR team that handle the models. Goals for next week: Continue working on project tasks
